Cobra radios for sale

I have just purchased a Cobra radio from a business in California at what I think is a decent price, about $110 delivered to me. The seller has advised me that if anyone in this group would like to buy another radio at this price he would be willing to sell more for that price. The radio was $101 and postage was $7.20. It is a Cobra 75 WX ST. I don't know if it is permitted to sell items like this on this forum and I don't want to run afoul of the rules. Can you tell me if this is permitted. I don't have a horse in this race at all, but it does seem like a good price if you should be in need of one. It would be good if one of the moderators would PM me to let me know if this is permitted and, if so, how to let the group know how to contact this person.

Well before the business sponsers smell blood and jump on this :p no it isn't permitted to post for sale items here unless you are a large or small business forum sponser. If you would like to list an item for sale become at least a bronze sponser so you can list for sale items or go to www.azvjc.org and list it in the classified section that is open to all.

Now I don't see what kind of issue there would be posting in the General section a good deal type of thread and passing that info along to others.

This is the going steet price. No big deal here. Check online -- several places sell that radio for at or very near that price.

Thanks to Wind Danzer for the reasoned response. Barry you are right, I didn't check in the exact right places. I didn't get ripped but it wasn't all that great a deal anyway. My radio works just fine so I am happy. Color me educated. Issue closed for me. Thanks again, it proves that this is the place for reliable information.:)
