A BIG THANKS to Stu Olson for taking the good part of his day off helping a fellow Jeeper out today. His reputation for being a great guy and a very knowledgeable jeeper is not understated. I owe you a steak dinner or maybe I will just fire one up on the trail for you!

A BIG THANKS to Troy and Sherry and staff at Toys by Troy for helping me out with technical support and opening up there shop to me. Let me tell you, I have been to many shops in town and have rarely come across a shop as professional and pleasant to work with.

These guys are the real deal, they had never even met me before but made me feel welcome and both of them were extremely helpful and more than willing to tackle a difficult job. Here is the kicker, all of this and I did not even purchase the product I was having a problem with from Troy. Stu (who was there on his day off to work on his jeep) did not even hesitate to jump in and help diagnose and then proceed to help wrench on my Jeep!

I live at least one hour away from Toys by Troy but I will not hesitate to make the trip for any future purchases. I would suggest them to anyone who wants A1 service and knowledge.

It was great to meet you today. I look forward to sharing a trail in the future....we'll pick up our discussion of Jeep stuff where we left off today. :)

Let me know how the rest of the project turns out after you get the isolation material installed.

Troy got on my case after you left. :D Before I called it a day, I had the aluminum engine skid cut out. Here is a sneak peek......

Catch you later!

p.s. I like my steak medium......and on the trail sounds good to me. LOL ;)

Hey Stu,

Good luck on the skid, that should be another good writeup for your site. I really look forward to running a trail with you and your jeep buds. Oh, by the way I left without showing you the article from the latest JP magazine on how to properly remove air from a PS system. I just read it again and it is straght from PSC and fairly in depth but simple. Check it out when you get a chance.

Russell's '97 TJ is in pretty good shape, IMO. I like the finish he has on his flares. ARBs at both ends. I heard he was looking to get a different t-case at some point to get his gearing in order.....and of course, there was the discussion about alloy axles.....and then we got into properly setting pinion angles.....and then we started on....well, you get the idea. :)

Wind Danzer,

Were you the one on crutches that Stu helped with your CB antenna?

Didn't do much helping with my antenna as it ended up not being an adjustable one but yea that was me. :D

Just call me hobble along. ;)

Yes I will be. :D

Easy little ride on Castle Hot Springs Rd. It's not underwater so we're all good.

Wanna do a easy scenic run? Bring a car and make it a 4.0 trail. :D

 Well I would but she won't drive my Heep. She's vertically challenged and don't like being cold, seeing as I have no top for it or doors well you get the picture.;)
