I did a search but couldn't come up with anything. But I swear I read somewhere about Polyurethane bushings to replace the stock Teraflex bushings in the control arms and that someone had put together a kit. Does anyone have this information.. I am pretty sure mine need to be replace. My son had this jeep and this kit has been in at least 8 years and I doubt if he ever replaced them.

I did a write up on it and it is located here:

http://www.stu-offroad.com/suspension/bushing1/terabushings-1.htm

Stu has hosted it since then.

Maybe Cole or Simon can verify the part number: KJ02038 Daystar kit.

Hey Cole, I should have know where to find the info STU Olsons website:D

http://www.stu-offroad.com/suspension/bushing1/terabushings-1.htm

It has been several months, and the Daystar bushings are working great! I dropped the arms to take a look, and they looked brand new! My last set of Teraflex bushings only lasted a few months, so I am very satisfied with the poly bushings. Dan at Daystar has made a kit for the bushings. The kit contains 8 M03280-BK's, the smaller of the 2 bushings that I tested. Kit part number is KJ02038

Can you guys get these Kits at 4Wheelers?

Yogi, we must have posted at the same time. The part number to ask for at 4 Wheelers is KJ02038. That should be an 8 pack of bushings. You need 4 bushings for each arm, except front uppers.

Mike in your write up you mentioned 16 bushings..Do I need two kits or one? Also I have a 4"lift for a TJ does that make a difference from what you have?

Went and got a set of bushings at 4WS this Saturday and Sunday after the Rain passed went out and installed them.

No problem except for two minor things

The front lower control arm has an adjusting bolt that I didn't figure out till I had it off so I matched it to the other side when I put it back in. On the 2nd one I just used a Sharpie to mark it.

Also Off Road Center in Mesa when they installed it put the bolt in from the Diff side on the drivers side. Which didn't leave a lot of room to get the bolt out. That was the hardest part of the whole process getting that bolt out without screwing it up Finally got it and when I reinstalled it put it in on the wheel side.

The thing I find amazing is the original bushings didn't look that bad and they were around 8 years old.. I know my Oldest boy never changed them.. Of course this is like the first Kit Teraflex came out with as the TJ was new in 97 and my boy got the kit like in 98
