Just got back from UROC, it was great! It was my first time at any 4 wheeling event, and I really enjoyed myself. I liked how all of the recovery vehicles were jeeps :D . Didn't someone say they were doing recovery? I managed to get a few pictures & videos with my phone for everyones viewing pleasure.

This was also my first 4x4 event... I was not to impressed.

The buggies were sick as all could be! However it was VERY slow paced and just overly not very entertaining... I think we only stayed for about 45 mins...

We'll look forward to W.E. Rock... I hear that is much better

Just my .02

I went last night too. My brother, daughter, and a few friends from work and their kids. They have never seen wheeling before, and now have an understanding on why I love it. Got me really itching to wheel. Just have to figure out how to raise $50K+ to build one of those moon buggies, but I need a 4 seater!

BTW Thanks for the tickets Simon! I barely made it to pick them up on time, traffic was terrible.

I prefer natural coarses, but man made coarses have thier place. They need a crane there for recovery. There were some recoveries that took way to long. My opinion there should be a crane at all man made arenas
The obstacles for the unlimited class were sick. They tested your nerve and rig. Made made coarses make it a even playing field because the obsticle does not change like on natural coarses.
I wish FireBird could be used by other promoters other than UROC.:p

I was horribly dissapointed by UROC. After going to WEROC there is no comparison. Natural courses are definately worth the drive.

While your raising that 50K to get that buggy built, you might try out the Average Joe 4X4 Challenge, bring out your daily driver rig and compete.
check out the info at
www.averagejoe4x4challenge-expo.com
or
www.averagejoe4x4challenge.com
(website may be down for a day or 2 due to moving it)

Next competition is March 25th. and 26th. Ft. McDowell Arena.
Just a FYI
Thanks Ben:D
