Went and got the sliders today and Roger hooked me up by helping to put them on. Pretty easy to do considering I had the corners already.

Pics to come later but thanks to both of them. They are way to clean and I need to beat the snot out of 'em now. :D

Congrats thats one of the things I want as well as the corners and Rock steps from them.. Right now I am waiting on parts to get my gearing and Arbs done... I had a hard time decided between performance and protection 1st.

Well here are some of the pics from today. I didn't get many but it's a pretty straight forward install, provided you place all the nuts in the proper location. ;)

Now I just need to get rid of that extra metal under the guard, or as much as possible. Then paint the remainder with black paint and add some black silicone between the slider and the rocker guards.

Overall I like the look though they need to get roughed up some.

Jamie, 1st Sorry to hear about your ankle that sucks:( but it sounded like it was a good party:D

I see you have the Wheel Flares off Did you do that to be able to install the sliders or are they off in preperation for some cutting.. Just curious if they need to be removed to install the sliders

Yogi.

The flares do not need to be removed to install this last batch of corners and sliders. Thing is there is only 14 of this set left. Once they are gone, Troy will be having them fabbed to cover the area under the flare (where the holes are in the metal).

As for running w/o flares, I've had them off for probably a year now and will be chopping the pieces under the metal slider. This will allow me to stop any rubbing and to fit larger tires under the well w/o going any higher. I won't be doign that anytime soon but it's just a thought.

Thanks on teh "sorry". I noticed today that my sick time is up on Monday so anytime I'm off work now will not be paid starting Tuesday. :(

Looks good Jamie! You could run a bead of black latex sealant to fill that gap. Just a suggestion.:)

DDawg,

That's the plan once we cut up the extra sheet metal and get the black paint for what is left. :)

Jamie, when I get a chance I am going to do the roll on bed liner under my rock sliders and PS crusher corners. No silicone for me. I will let you know how it turns out. I think in the long run this will be alot better. Hell, I guess you you could do both for the ultimate protection. By the way it looks good. You can never have to much protection. Now all's you need is LOCKERS front and rear and nobody will be able to stop you.

Lee,

I was thinking about that and I also thought about the Tough Stuff Products Rocker guard gaskets. They don't have gaskets that do the full body in the rear but I'm sure if you ask they could do it for you.

I'm pretty much where I want to be for body protection now. As for the lockers/gears... well with this ankle thing, I'm going to be in bleeding cash mode and I can't go spending now on the few things I was planning to do. :( I might not even be able to make it to Moab this year.
