So Joe is willing to use the site to sell his junk but isn't willing to post it himself? Intriguing. I'm sure it will make an excellent axle for someone.

Ok, explain all the hate for Joe Daro to me...
If you are afraid he'll "see" it and hate you back, I have a PM box...;)

Ther is no hate here.......he just has not posted himself since 11/28/05, wont answer PM's from users or return emails that originate from here, even if interrested in products he sells, or at least from me.....

I like Joe, I just think if he wants to sell his junk here he should be atleast kind enough to post it himself, and answer questions, is that wrong?

We don't hate Joe, he "hates" us. We love Joe, and miss him. wahhhh.

Anyway, a forum should be a community of giving/taking. I with my limited and often ignorant examples of what I have to offer up to everyone, and then my taking of useful much more scientific and educated tidbits of information. Part of this is why forums such as this require a sponsorship in order to post items for sale. It keeps the spam out from folks that have no intention on offering anything for the masses.

There's another side to this of course. Joe's still I assume is probably still a sponsor depending on when this runs out (I'm assuming they expire). So he has every right to post. If he did post, I think it would be great and hopefully would lead to him coming back. The thing that I thought was interesting was that the post came from someone else when of course as previously stated he has his own account on the forum. I'm jumping to conclusions as it's definitely possible that Hackle decided to pass this on for our benefit and Joe had nothing to do with it...in which case I have pie on my face right about now.

It's my understand that Joe either had a disagreement with someone or was tired of "schtuff". That's all I know. I've only met Joe twice for a brief period. I'm completely an outsider looking in in this case. I see someone that's not actively participating on the forum trying to sell something. I see that as spam. I guess if I were to analyze this I wouldn't have a problem with someone posting a buddies junk for sale... but due to the circumstances (the above mentioned fact that he has a valid account that he could post with but chose not to) this is a bit different.

Let me also reiterate before I get jumped down that this all is assuming that it was Joe's idea to post this. I'm assuming he had a hand in it by how the email was closed, "Respectfully, Joe"....makes it sound to me like Joe intended on Hackle posting this for him.

He added a phone number to call him if you want and an e-mail. I have no more information on this then what he sent me. A friend asked me to do him a favor and I did.
