Jeep Bed

Being a big fan of SILVERSPOONS when i was younger i always wanted a Ferrari Bed like Ricky Shroder. Well i am to big for it now, But with my Son due in just 80 days:eek: I have started to see how i can influence my obsession on to him. Finding baby Jeep stuff is really hard i have found a few Shirts two baby books a Jeep Rocking horse and a Stroller along with a few other things.

So this morning i am sitting at my Desk and My lovley wife forwards me a Website :http://www.jeepbed.com/ I open it up and as handy as i am there is no way in hell i am paying $1395.00 for this thing... i am sure i can build it myself. I do have a few years till he will be ready for it. So i guess i can consider this my son's first JEEP BUILD.....

Yep, there's that one and a couple of real cheesy ones. Not ver good Jeep beds out there. I looked several months back when my son was growing out of his crib.

Soo.....take a real Jeep tub, fix it up and paint it and "modify/fabricate" a bed out of it.....Could not be that hard.....I think it would be pretty cool.

Naa...thats no problem....knock down a wall...I'm a carpenter, I could get it in there...

Seriously though, if your interested in designing/building a Jeep bed that looks halfway decent..., I've got some good ideas kicking around in my bed... I'm thinking an old flatfender willy's style made out of wood that would hold a twin mattress.... Let me know.
