Congratulations! Your activism paid off again.
AzCDL supported HB 2074 passed out of the Senate Judiciary committee on Monday, February 27, 2006 with a favorable amendment added by the Committee Chairman, Senator Huppenthal. Details of the vote can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/r2lom
Information on HB 2074, including the amendment, status, votes, etc. can be found here:

HB 2074 eliminates the CCW renewal training requirement and the amendment allows for near universal recognition of permits issued by other states. The language in the amendment is supported by DPS.
The original version of HB 2074 has already passed the full House. It has now passed the Senate Judiciary committee by a vote of 6-1. From here, it's headed to the Senate Committee of the Whole.
As HB 2074 progresses, we will "alert" you when it's time to contact your Senator to push for passage by the full Senate.
Thank you for your work in getting HB 2074 this far!
