lower/upper ajax night run 03/03

I've never run either trail. I know lower is definitely do-able, and upper may be iffy for me.

I'm thinking of meeting at cottonwood canyon road around 8 or 9pm-ish, depending on if people are interested...

any takers?

I'm surprised no one responded to this thread. Lower Ajax is a walk in the park. It's a good warm up for the fun stuff!

Upper is a blast!!! It's definitely challenging and very technical. There's roughly 4 obstacles that cannot be bypassed. There are limeted lines to choose from and its guaranteed to get your heart pounding! I'm surprised there are not more post for this trail.

I'd be up for running it but can't go Friday night. Maybe next weekend. I'd recommend running it during the day first to see what your in for.

Yeah, it was recommended to me on the azttora board that I walk upper before heading in, and have at least one truck with me that I *know* can make it through.

If no one shows, I may just do lower, then run some of the mellow trails

Ok, my plan is to be at Cottonwood Canyon road at 8:30pm ish to air down - I'll head out at 9pm. I have 1 confirmed and 1 maybe off the azttora board.

We'll be on channel 7. Doing at least lower, and if not upper then farting around out there, maybe come back down woodpeckers or north out fr4
