Well this project has had many forms. It first started out as "Project "Nemisis" A beefed up YJ with a cummins engine running rockwells. Finaly came to my senses and went with something that wont eat up my life savings and starting a build on a 1972 jeepster. Well, then came along Pauls Tenniswood's jeep and I bought that lol. Well my friend was working on a CJ7 project and he liked Paul's Jeep a lot more! He is addicted to the I6s now, so we traded.

Rig when I aquired it:
1986 CJ7
Chevy 350 with Edlebrock performer intake, double roller timing, mild cam upgrade, and some other stuff he doesn't want to tell me (pain in the butt) All he would say is its pushing around 400+ ponies.
TH400
Extended to 99" WB running full size 1/2 ton leaf springs front and rear w/ double shackles in the rear.
Chevy full size power steering.
NP205 t-case
14bolt rear and 10bolt front runnign 4.11s with lock-rights

Here's what's been done
Upgraded to Holly Truck Avenger 670 carb
Atlas 5:1 But swapped out with Jerry's 3.8:1 due to him breaking his front output shaft on the 3.8. Btw the 3.8 Atlas came with that red monstrosity y'all saw at the Average Joe event.
Aluminum radiator *cough* which Jerry now owes me a new one. See what happens when I lend friends stuff :P
Tranny cooler
Flat fenders (made them over a weekend)
15" rims with 2.5" backspacing I have 36x12.50R15 TSLs already with 90% tread.

Here is what will be done
4340 10bolt axle upgrades (thinking about Warn shafts) with either spicer 760 or CTMs And the sending them off to get Cryoed
Renegade seats with 5 point harness
TH350
Warn XD9000i w/synth rope
Roll cage made from 2" tubing
Stinger made from 2" tubing
Rock Sliders from 1 1/4" tubing
Outer body protection 1 1/4" tubing
4 link suspension in the front

Any ideas comments more than welcomed, this is my first rig I am building. I used to wheel with my mother in her '72 Scout II

Cheers,
Lee

I got some pics of my Jeep, testin the flex with a shop crane. The white Jeep next to it in the pics is Paul Tenniswoods CJ5 sitting on 39" IROKs. It currently gets 3ft off the ground.

Cheers,
Lee
