After reading Stu's thread about his new switches it motivated me to clean up mine as well. And since I am laid up for 6 weeks recovering from back surgery I have nothing better to do. So I located four black, flush-mount, round rocker switches with red LED on indicators. I chose these for looks and also because they use a 3/4" round mounting holes so I could use a wood bore to make clean and precise cuts. I put 3 switches below the shifter and 1 above the 4wd shifter. The top switch will be for my OBA and a PSI gauge will be mounted below it where Stu mounted his trans temp gauge.

(Stu, sorry for bootlegging your picture, if you would like me to remove it please let me know)
The install was easy. I measured, and measured, and measured again, then used the 3/4" wood bore to drill the holes. Then I popped in the switches and marked them 1, 2, 3, 4 and marked the poles A, B, C. On a Radio Shack 12 pin plug I also marked with 1, 2, 3, 4 and A, B, C and cut some 16 gauge wire to length. One end of the wires were crimped with a female spade connectors and the other end soldered with the plug pins. All wires were taped, routed, and secured with double sided tape to keep them neat. Thanks Stu for your great write up on your install. You make these things easy(er) for the rest of us around here!
