Well Kit Carson ,Walt and I decided try a part of the Draw most people don't run.We were doing Ok until Walt sliped of a ledge and got his rear bumper wedged under it,During the fall he took out his rear panel.

Walt had to remove his bumper to be able to winch himself out.
As it turned out Kit blew out a side wall and had to change it on the trail.
I on the other hand got lucky and got a slow leak in one of my side walls and didn't find out about it this afternoon.
I want to Thank Rick Beer at Discount tire for getting me fixed up this afternoon
My Son in Law just bought him self a used money pit and this was his frist run with it.

On the way home there was an other fire burning around mile marker 209.I don't know if it's out or not.

Is there a series of ledges on the right side of wash? If so; that's what broke my axle last time. A guy with a Dana 60 front broke behind me.

Where 2 trails ( the # escapes me ,TC alittle help:confused: ) meet you get back in the Draw and start working your way up from there. There's a whole lot of that system that could be wheeled, and explored.

This spot is towards the far east end, just east of where the 433 crosses the draw. I don't know what happened, last time drove right up! It's amazing what an inch or two off the correct line will do...

Yes I do." SLVRUBY".

I just put 2 and 2 together and realized that you and your son were part of the group that I first led through the Draw. I had the silver TJ. I shook your Jeeps as you were leaned on that one obstacle towards the beginning of the run to show you how stable your Jeeps still were, that off camber. That must have been one of your first runs if I remember correctly.

Whoa. Do you have pictures of these axle eating ledges? I am intrigued.

Keep in mind that it's not the steepness of this section but the ability for large slabs or rock and the voids inbetween to jam up your frontend. The only two shafts I ever broke were at the end of the Draw.

Looks from the pics like lots of opportunity to get bound up, a good ingredient in the recipe for breaking hard parts.

Exactly. The beauty of this trail is that it gradually gets more and more difficult the farther you drive. There are many lines and it gets as tough as you want for a Jeep. Yes; Skull Crusher is much more difficult, but the Draw can bite you just as easily. ;)
