Does anyone know what the first gear ratio is in my T5, 83 cj7? Just trying to figure out my crawl ratio. d300 is like 2.6 and my diff is 4.88 so.... am i crawling yet? I didn't think so. Don't worry 4 to 1 is on the way!!!

First gear in the T-5 is 4.03. A 4:1 will definetely help alot!

51 to 1, dang, my Junk still walks faster then I do....Not for long. Hey, any thoughts on terra lo or Lo max gears. Lo max really looks to be the way to go. Looks like better construction, a bigger gear, and best of all a cheaper price!

I have been running the Tera's in my junk for a couple of years now with no problems. The Lo Max grinders look pretty beefy though! I think the key to either one is a good quality install. If you are doing it yourself take your time and have the right tools. Know how to measure endplay and having a good puller or press is critical.
