I'm on vacation this week so I'd be up for something. I don't think I've been on any of the trails you've listed, so any of those would do. What time were you thinking of going?

I'm in Chandler by the 101 & Warner. 10-10:30 sounds good, I don't want to see ANY traffic while I'm on vacation!

I'm checking my trusty trail guide for the trails you listed! Do you have a favorite?

I'm leaning towards sunflower. Is that cool with you guys? If so, where do you want to meet? Dragonfly, where are you coming from? If your coming from the east valley maybe we can convoy up and meet Doug (welcome Doug!) in Fountain Hills?

I live in Ahwatukee, I've never run Sunflower before, it would be nice to go with someone who knows the trail, I'd like to do powerline also, but again I haven't run it. I have done Montana mountain, it is really easy. FR98 was a bit of a challenge, I'm not sure if I could find it again without a leader...

Well, I'm up for just about anything, as long as it doesn't require lockers! As far as some of the other trails go, I've got a GPS and my trail books has the coordinates so we wouldn't get to lost...hopefully.

I don't think I will be able to get there in time, I have a few things to do in the morning. How long do you stay out normally.

I think the trail takes about 4-5 hours depending on the amount of people.

What an awesome day with perfect weather and no carnage. Thanks to Joe Egler for leading and for his sly sense of humor, nice to meet you Bryan and Ian. I'm glad to say everyone made it up the obstacle with only a little help...;) ;) (Bryan). It was interesting to see the mine...I've never been before. I am looking forward to joining Joe in exploring all the side trails in the days to come. I'll leave it to Joe to post the links to his pics and to anyone else who took photos.

:D :D :D :D

I had a great time, even when I got stuck! Thanks Joe for the tour, and Karen for getting this trip together! And, sadly, thanks Dad for yanking me out of that hole I was digging and getting me back on the right path.:D Look forward to wheeling with you guys again!
