Just got my Auburn ECTED locker back from Auburn. After one year they wanted to check it out for problems.
The only problem they found is I was running to thick of a oil. OPPS. I want to sit on the couch Sunday and watch the Super Bowl while some one puts my front end together. Kind of like, I throw my clothes in the hamper and on Monday they are in my drawer. MAGIC. Just kidding its almost back together, except I lost a v-seal. Now where will I find one.
Hey everybody have a safe and fun weekend. I will be at the shop 8-4 on Saturday if you guys need anything.:)

Simon, I heard that the Auburn ECTED now has a D30 & D35 model. Do you have those yet? I haven't heard much about them, how do you like them? Any problems, issues, rants or raves?

I have had them on order since October. They claim they are shipping next week. I think the 30 unit (avail in 27 spl and SUPER 30 spl)will be fine but I am worried about the standard 35 unit. A lot of stress for a axle that comes off the assy line stressed. Oh well I should have them in 2 weeks. Pm me if you want a price.:)
p.s. I am very happy with mine.

What oil were you running; Simon? I don't have an Ected, but I swear by Mystic gear oil. I see you guys carry the small containers, but I'd like to see you pick up the 5 gallon pails. ;) I pay $40.00 for 5 gallons and a pump with lid is just under $40.00. Talk about handy!

Im running the Redline Shockproof Heavy in everything. Its rated at 140/240wt. Its some thick stuff. BUT remember my Crap is a trailer Queen with a 205 transfer case. Redline shockproof is thick stuff that is great for severe shock loads. Like Simon hitting the wrong gear and stupid things like that. It just works. The Auburn is made for a lighter oil such as 85w/140wt.
