EVENT LOCATION: Globe, Arizona

April 7th, 2006 Friday
1pm: Vendor/sponsor set-up
Location: Drift Inn, 636 No. Broad St. Globe, Arizona
3pm: Check in and tech inspection, Drift Inn, 636 No. Broad St. Globe, Arizona
5pm: Judges meeting, meet at tech location
6pm: Event Discussion Forum, Open to drivers, team members, sponsors, meet at tech location. Discussion Presented by Lil' Rich, Speakers: Brandon Foster, Dustin Webster
7:30pm: Close check in and tech inspection.
8:00 pm: Pre-event party and get together, Drift Inn

April 8th, 2006 Saturday
7:30-8am: Last chance Tech inspection and Check-in @ the competitors parking area. (Late tech is only for those that have pre-registered, NO LATE REGISTRATIONS, call Rich Klein for details)
9am: Start positions posted at Comp site on W.E. ROCK Trailer
9am: Spectators gate opens.
9am: Driver?s Meeting, W.E. ROCK Trailer at the comp site
10am: Competition begins. Competitors must be staged (see rules)
3pm: Projected end of Competition

April 9th, 2006 Sunday
9am: Spectators gate opens.
10am: Competition begins
3pm: "The Shootout"

Results: Posted within ½ hour of the end of competition.
Awards ceremony: Within 1 hour after end of competition.

Directions:
1/2 mile north on 60 from Globe, Spectator parking at the Drive-In Movie Theatre, no parking will be allowed on 60

Food and drink vendors will be on site.

Hahahah!! Funny you should mention Camping being muddy. We were up against the same thing, and NOT looking forward to it.

We called in a favor...

Heinz57, Craig Micek, Bill Schueler, and I all camped in the ACE HARDWARE parking lot!!
It was Hawt!
One of the guys in our club is a Hardware Salesman (Think what Hank Hill of King Of The Hill is to Propane and Propane Accesories, this guy is to hardware..:rolleyes: )
He got us permission to stay at Ace, What a Partay!! It was Raining real hard, but the Ace had these Portable Garage things set up. Bill S. and I kept Craig and Barry up even after they went to bed together, :eek: playing "Name that tune" with the stereo in his truck just Blastin'.

We were far enough away from everyone, including the Po-Po, so we weren't disturbing anyone, or being disturbed.
