Does this replace Yahoo Newsgroup

Sorry, if asked before, but I just signed on. Does this BBS replace the Yahoo AZVJC newsgroup?

Not yet. Hopefully, it will though.

Right now... the two systems are running in parallel... BBS and Yahoo. Over time... one of three things will likely happen:

1. Yahoo Groups email traffic dies down and everyone migrates to BBS format.

2. BBS format dies down and everyone migrates back to Yahoo Groups until a better solution comes along.

3. Both BBS and Yahoo Groups live in harmony.

Don't know which of these three it will be... but I'm hoping it Isn't number 2. :)

I'm not crazy about this new format...

Too many places to look and too many things going on...

Topics inside of topics just don't make sense.

New members signing on or a person not familiar with computers could be intimidated by this site. I think I'm going to "migrate" back to Yahoo (which also isn't that great)......

Just my opinion though...

I think things will be in a state of flux for awhile as both moderators, users, and myself as administrator try and figure out the optimum configuration for the board. If things are confusing now... they might be more mature and easier to figure out in 6 months... you may want to check back then.
