Concours In the Desert Car Show 04/01/06

This is the Girl Scout car show that many of us did last year. We had the largest group at the event. They even added a Rock Crawler Class in the regisration form for us. This was pretty cool last year and I can not think of a better group to support. I hope we have a great turn out again this year.
It is at the Peoria Sports Complex just like last year

I did ask if they could set up an online registration form and a paypal account. I will let everyone know if that comes about.

I got my invite from them in the mail today. I guess that everyone that paid to display their Jeep also got one.

For those that didn't attend, it was a good time and the money goes to the Girl Scouts, a worthy group. I plan on being there again, hope many of you do also:)

I got a response from my e-mail and it was more then I expected.

Jim, this is great news! Thank you for your support. A couple of things - I have cc'd John Leshinski our chair on your email and he and I will talk next week about online registration. I will also talk with our tech com dept. It might be that we can do this now that we have upgraded our system and I hope so. If now perhaps John has some special ideas on his end how we can do this. We want to make this accessible for you. We should talk more about this also and try to promote you on our all of our info now. Setting times for special performances and maybe we can work togehter on the media too. I think the more we build a "team" approrach the better it will be for us all to have a great event. Cooperstown has agreed to come on board again and so that should also be a fun draw for us. I am going to get tickets printed in a couple of weeks for general public. May I send you some to distribute? I is just a friendly reminder to everyone about the event and we will be happy to put your club appearance ot the ticket. How should it read. I will keep everyone up to date on progress but being listed on the tickets would be pretty cool we will need at least one ramp any takers?? (4 Wheelers Supply) hint hint hint.
