I was wondering where that went. I wanted to check into the debate about the legislation about carry of a weapon in a Restuarant that was defeated.

I think most of the debate happened before it was shot down. I think it was a big mistake not to pass the law. The big thing that the opponents kept throwing out was "carrying in a bar." There are a lot of places I can't carry because they serve alcohol.
I could type all day regarding the reasons this should have passed but today is wheeling day and I have to get the rest of my stuff ready.

The masses who do not consider fact are readily whipped into a baseless frenzy.

The other thing the anti-freedom folks detest is the demonstrable fact that concealed carry has reduced violent crme and deaths realted to it dramatically in (most) all states where they have studied it. I say most because I do not have the data in front of me. Google will tell you, not me, because I am off wheeling too.
