Hi Gang,

My son and daughter are a senior and junior at Mesa High, and I'm trying to help them find some part-time jobs for after school/weekends and full time over this summer. My son starts ASU in the fall and will likely want to keep working part time.

My son is both mechanically inclined (he and I are restoring his 1966 Corvair) and computer saavy. He's had assistant manager experience at a little Caesar's pizza restaurant as well.

My daughter has worked for the past two years for the same little Caesar's restaurant my son worked for.

Both of them own their own vehicles and can drive to work, but I'd prefer the jobs be in the Mesa/Gilbert area.

My son is the Unit Commander for the Mesa High Air Force JROTC unit and my daughter is a staff officer in the same unit... basically, they are respectful good kids.

If anyone has any openings... please respond to this thread, send me a PM, or shoot me an email to:

joew@diveaz.com

Kind Regards,

Joe

Hi Rick,

My son is most definitely interested... The closest store to us is the one at Gilbert and Baseline. I can send you his resume or I can have him go in and talk to a manager if a store in our area has an opening.

Thanks for the lead Rick!

Joe,

FWIW,
Companies like Fedex and UPS hire college kids for cargo handler/loader positions.

The hourly rates are excellent and they usually get some tuition reimbursement incentive.

Starbucks is also a great college/pt job.Very flexible schedules.

Just a few suggestions...no leads.

I worked for Starbucks myself when attending College. Very good health care and retirement benifits and you get them with only 20 hours a week!!
