Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm sure it'll get coverage.
Just found out from Sandee (who sent this out on the email board) that the Average Joe Competition has been cancelled.
I do hope that they can get it together and pull it off in the future. It looks fron their site, www.averagejoe4x4challenge-expo.com, that they are going after it in February??

If you were planning on attending this, and still need your extreme fix... come on out to W.E. ROCK's Put up or Shut Up this weekend in Congress.
Directions and other info can be found off of the website at www.we-rock.cc
Tix are $10, or you can have a chance to win passes this Thursday at the 98 KUPD (97.9FM) Van Stop in East Mesa. Be listening between 6:30AM and 9AM for your chance!

Hope to see you there!
(this was posted more as information regarding the Average Joe Challenge cancellation, and was not specifically intended as an advertisement for the W.E. ROCk event this weekend... promise)

Last I saw it was rescheduled for February 17-19. One of the main reasons for it being put off I heard was the conflict with the WE ROC, not sure if that was true, just a rumor I heard.

There's a post over in the General Discussion from XJNation stating that it has just been moved to Feb.

I never heard from anyone that there was any conflict, just that they did happen to be on the same day.
I have not asked Big Rich about this directly, but will. Basically, I don't think they ever actually contacted him, they may have realized this and were polite and rescheduled.

I looked for posts (no search tool used, though) and didn't see any with a cursory look.
Sorry for the double posting, then.
