XM Reception

For you folks running XM Radio...how is your reception?
I get one 1 full bar + 1/2 bar + 1/4 bar.
I have a soft top and TXT sport bar set up on my my roll cage, so I mounted the antenna on the sport bar close to the center of the stock roll bar. Kind of over my right ear as I sit in the jeep.
Was curious if there is a better place to mount it or if that was normal reception.

Have three of them I found mine works real good on the rf of the hood near the antenna itself use to have it inside near the windshield
the other two are the new style & only about an inch long & have them on the roof above the rear view mirror

I 'stuck' my antenna on rollbar (under the padding) on the drivers side right where the windshield mount meets the overhead cross-bar. Never had it loose reception even with the soft top over it.

...except when 4 wheeling. When headed downhill the windshield blocks reception. I plan to switch it to the other side of the vent to see if that helps. Except for that I get 3-4 bars.
