Sorry for the delayed response....been busy the past couple of days and by the time I've gotten home, I've not had the energy to fire up the PC (now that IS bad). :)

So far, so good. I decided to do a gas mileage check today and topped off the tank to get a good start on seeing how much it may have changed. I am not expecting much difference. Just driving it around the past week....the tanks seems to empty out about as fast as it did with my manual tranny.

I finally got to play in stop and go rush hour traffic today....LOVED IT. Not rowing back and forth through the gears was a joy.

My ARB parts finally arrived (this afternoon) and so I can now fix the front locker and try the tranny on the trail.

My CV angle is too high right now and so I've decided to drop my spring height a couple of inches. That will take care of that problem. I started to make a new tranny mount....and after getting about an hour into it, I decided I was going to gain about 1/2" drop at the mount....not enough to do what I was hoping for so I've opted to change the springs and lower things a bit.

When I was doing the tranny swap, I noticed that either the input shaft seal on the t-case or the output seal on the AX-15 had a slight leak. As I was working on the tranny mount today, I noticed a bit of fluid dripping again....I couldn't have gotten lucky enough for the old AX-15 seal to have been bad. So....I have an input shaft seal to replace on the t-case. :( I'll add it to my list of things to do. Its not really that bad....just enough to make a little mess back there.

Later....Stu
