I just dont underatand it? We gripe about nothing coming to us and then ignore it when it does...sorry if this comes off as a gripe but it is.

We rock is still in need of some help to pull it off,,,,,Put Up or Shut Up Shootout on January 7-8 in Congress, AZ. We ask for it, get it now its up to us to show up for support.

(Brian stepping off soap box)

I will be judging this one and driving 150 miles to do it

I will judge in Globe also and need to drive 200+

come on lets show our support!:D

S'ok, man. I know you're trying. We're actually doing OK(didn't say good or great) right this second.
Seen it happen too many times in the past, too... all over the place.

I do hope that you all decide to come watch the action, though.
I promise you that a W.E. ROCK event is NOTHING like what you experienced with that other series out at Firebird... expensive tix, expensive parking, expensive EVERYTHING.
Come see what a series that cares is like.

Trust me... there's a reason I refuse to do anything with that other series anymore (even go to an event with a pass, or judge with all travel paid and cash for doing so).

Well, not to blow out your sails of frustration, but...
I just looked over the list. Out of all the judges we have signed up 8 are also VJC members. While they may not be listed as such specifically (for having signed up from elsewhere), they are on here, too.
I, personally, want to extend an early Thanks to the VJC for stepping up. I sure do hope all that signed up do show, as we always seem to have a couple of no shows.
This is going to be a great event.

Even if you're not able to make it as a spectator, be sure to tell all your friends, family and co-workers! The action is fast, the competition is fierce and the atmosphere and attitude are all about FUN!!

Hope to see you all out there!

I stepped up to the plate and offered to drive a buggy in the competition. I was angrily denied. So now I'm stuck washing buggy windows and checking the water pressure in the tires.

Well if they advertised more people would come. I am on a few different boards on a almost daily basis and this is the first that I have heard of this event.

Who/Where did they advertise this event? Even thier WEB site has only 1 sentence about this even!

I thought that the PHX/AZ WE ROCK event was usually in March.

There's also Pirate board, AZ Undertakers, AZ350Z.com, etc.

Since this isn't a series event, there simply isn't a lot of money in the budget to cover major market advertising... that is spendy stuff, man. This event has always been more of a fun weekend, as the atmosphere is more relaxed due to no series points on the line. It's also a great way to see the new designs and tech coming from the extreme world... ideas for your rig :)

We normally advertise on the different web boards.
Let me know what boards you don't see it on. I'll be glad to make sure we get on those and get the word out. We're always looking for ways to reach more folks!

As for the short one-liner on the website's homepage. That is actually kind of intentional. We don't want the page to get so long that folks get bored trying to read it. Hence the "related links."
If you'd like to see more on there, we'll take that advice and improve on it in the future. Thanks for the input!

(not meant to sound at all angry... I can understand and appreciate frustrations. And would like to make sure we do everything we can to mitigate them.)
