Tucson Ride 12-31-05

A few of us are getting together Saturday morning 12-31-05 for a tour around the Ironwood Mountains off of Avra Valley rd in Marana. Easy ride, there will be at least one stock Jeep. We might explore a few of the side trails. May be 1/2 day depending how much exploring we do.
If anyone wants to go we will be meeting for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel at Cortaro Farms Road at 0830 on Saturday.

We got out on 12-31 and had a real good time.My wife and I (Jim & Nev) along with Bill and Elizabeth in a Unlimited and Nic & Brenda in a XJ took out from Avra Valley Rd. Took some side trails, shot some guns and didn't break any of our toys. Parts of the trail may have hit a 3 or a little over but most I would guess was a 2.5. We were out most of the day and realized there are plenty of areas out there to explore.
A great time was had by all. We're planning another outing on 01-14-06 and we'll post a run when we pick an area etc. Talk of a bbq lunch etc is in the works.
