Gauging interest, as usual, late notice, want to get out before Sunday and the weather is going to be great, anyone interested ?

0900 Show, back before dark ?

EDIT: 33's and some sort of traction device are preffered to make this a fun trip.

I'm planning to run the Powerline on Saturday at 7am. We are going to leave from Tempe at 6 am. Some of us have to be back for Christmas Eve activities.

How many people/rigs ? I was hoping to get home early as well, 0700 is a tad early for me though, guess I could drag my butt out that early if I had to. Thanks for the reply.

There are going to be three or four Jeeps (one CJ and three TJs) and one Dodge Truck. We are meeting between 6 and 6:15 at the QT on Baseline and Rural (it is 200 ft East of Rural on Baseline). We are not planning to run the actual Hackberry Creek/Springs trail, but rather the Powerline (or as some call it the Telegraph Canyon Trail). Let me know if you are planning to come and we will wait for you.

Powerline or Hackberry Creek is considered the same trail if your doing the whole figure eight. The Powerlines run along the eastern part and hackberry Creek is on the western part of the figure eight. Wish I was going with you guys!

Tom I hope it works out for your scout troop. There are some awesome camping spots. One would be near the petroglyph boulder on the Hackberry Creek side. That would be a great spot for the scouts to explore for more petroglyphs. Another would be near the view of Devil's canyon. Or of course the green valley (it's brown now).:)
