Sat 12-24 or Sun 12-25

Me and a buddy were thinkin of hitting a trail one of the above days, my jeep is mostly stock (have a 4" lift...just not installed :D )and this is my first run EVER, so I want to keep it somewhat basic, but still challenging. Does anyone have any desire to head out with/or any suggestions on what would be a good starting trail for us?

There is a mud springs run on Christmas but I'm not sure if you would be ready for that. Post up in the X-Mas thread and see. :)

The Coke Ovens and Box canyon trails are good begginner trails (state permit required) and so is Bulldog canyon but you need to get a free permit from Tonto National Forest Mesa District.

If you want to tackle Mud Springs on 12/25 let me know... Being "mostly stock" you will need a "helping hand" in a few spots... otherwise known as a winch. Probably not the best trail to be your First. Let me know if you have the desire...we welcome all!!
