Hey everybody
I know this is selfish of me to sell my stuff here, but it is a
jeep. I have a 1980 Cherokee Chief that I very much would enjoy getting rid
of. It has a 360(tired) 727 automatic (20k on rebuild) NP219 full time
transfer case (also 20k on rebuild w new chain), model 44 front(driver side
pumpkin) model 20 rear (one piece not the crappy cj unit) gears unknown.
fairly new 3 core radiator from modine, Aluminum 6 lug wheels, 3 inch
flowmaster single exhaust with a high flow catalytic converter, also 20k
miles, emissions equip is also fairly fresh and it did pass last summer.
Needs lots of work asking 1800$ obo. Anyone interested please call me at 602
708 1292.

Yep! I've installed a new proportioning valve and master specifically
designed for discs all around...just need to get the vehicle road worthy to
test them. I still don't recommend SSBC.

Jesus,
It is very common to offset any motor towards the drivers side on a CJ engine
swap. Normally its done so that there is no interference between the front
diff/drive shaft at the bell housing, not to mention needed clearance for the
oil pan and differential. If your having linkage problems I would recommend
going to a set of pedals from a later model CJ7 that had a hydraulic clutch
and then finding a slave cylinder to work on your transmission. Jeeps always
seem to have problems with clutch linkage binding during extreme flex, so the
juice clutch is the way to go. I may still have a set of these pedals laying
around here from the 85 CJ7 I scraped out last year, if you want them I will
see if I can find them, if there here, I mail them to you.

Don't know what side of town you will be on so....

I like the Timber Lodge at Ina and Thornydale. The chain (this is
the only one is AZ that I know of) is from Minnesota, they fly
all their meat from Minneapolis every other day. The prime rib is
very good and they also have Walleye. Prices are reasonable and
the wait is bearable, and noise at low levels.

Another suggestion is the Thunder Canyon Brewery at the Foothills
Mall at Ina and La Cholla. Great selection of specialty beers
brewed on the premises and good food also. A little noisy tho'.

There are two for you on the Northwest side. There are quite a
few good places here.
Would possibly be able to meet you. My wife is most likely
working those nights. (she is a nurse)

You are fine Raw Deal is as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Wide wash
lots of different lines great beginner run. But can be hard enough for a
challenge. Enjoy the run.

All;

I recently asked for help installing a RE lift kit on my '01 TJ. I received
quite a few replies offering assistance, so we decided to make it a
wrenching party! You're invited to come help out, watch, learn, socialize,
and/or get advice and help. Larry Turnquist has offered to use his garage
and equipment, with Mike Baney and Mike Anderson bringing a 1/2" drill and
bits needed for the lift and track bar. Chris Krieg and Dan Weed also
offered assistance and plan to attend. I'll provide some suds, sodas, and
pizza as bribery to those attending (please drink responsible).

We'll be getting an early start next Sunday (3/4) at 8:00am at Larry T's.
Larry lives in NE Mesa, 1/2 mile north of Power and McKellips on the right
side is a street named Menlo. The fourth house in on the right side is 6845.
Two sets of gates at the street into the driveway, light brown house. If you
get lost, my cell # is 602-300-3150. Larry says there's "a little test area
right down the street from the house, it
is a requirement of the wrenching party to go climb this hill."

To help us get an idea of how many will be there, please send me an Email if
you think you'll attend. However, come on out any time during the day even
if you didn't RSVP.

Hope to see you there!
