Subject: Re: MDA Jamboree Canceled
I would like to suggest a local charitable organization that helps children
and adults that have been physically or sexually abused and also is reaching
out to children in schools to teach them how to avoid becoming victims of
abuse. They also teach children where to go to get help if they are abused.
School districts contact the organization and bring them in upon the school
districts approval. Recently they have started opening centers near police
stations so that experts can examine potential rape victims and these
experts are extremely sensitive to the emotional difficutlies associated
with the examination that some ER's are not. Often rape victims are treated
poorly in the ER and made to feel like the perp instead of the victim. This
is a very good cause and as many of you have children a big help to them.
Please consider casa as a possible charity that could benefit from this
event. As with any event held in their name they will get volunteers to
help and they are happy with any amount they get.
Thanks.

Actually the best way to get trail information put in the website is
to just e-mail me. If it is a new listing, give me all of the info.
If it is a change to an existing listing, just give me the trail name

Any help is in getting the missing info filled in is much appreciated.

It seems that I may be Going ahead with the D60 Swap into my YJ, I
was wandering would a Dana 44 from a Chevy/GMC 1 ton or 3/4 ton be ok
upfront for 38 inch tires, Or should I plan to go with something
stronger, or maybe just go down in tire size, i am getting a Toyota
celica to drive around in so that I can park the Jeep until the
Conversion is done. Another thing is what Gears would anybody
recommend, I was thinking 4.88's because I may be using it around
town as well on occasion. I know that the Chevy is on the Pass side,
but I want to get rid of the Chain drive t-case and weak tranny and
swap in a stronger tranny and 300 t-case.

After the talk of Redline Off-Road potentially coming out with a new u-joint
for D44 front axles that is MUCH stronger than current versions, I would
think the D44 would be strong enough for 38's. Granted, your then starting
to tax the axles, but the big achilles heel before was the u-joints. This
new design might alleviate that problem. I know alot of guys today who run
38's and D44's. But I don't know what issues they may have had. D60 pretty
much solves ALL of those questions, but you might need to rob a bank to find
one around here for a reasonable price. I'd just as soon by replacement
shafts and u-joints as to spend $1,200 for D60 (without goodies). But then I
am a cheap SOB! ;-)

Hello All,
This is an automated message from the website, please do not reply to it!
Dan Siegel is leading a Terminator (Upper) trail run on Saturday, February 24, 2001.
When: 10:00 AM
Where: Parking area off of Table Mesa Road.
Rating: 4.0+
Length: Depends on how many show
CB Channel: 4
Need to try out the new rear locker!!! I have only run this trail once so we may need a "real" trip leader.
Upper Terminator can best be described as:
Rocks, waterfalls, off-camber spots and more rocks! Big Rocks.
Whereas there are several by-passes, even the by-passes have taken it's toll on sheet medal and paint.
This trail definitely requires full hard lockers in front and rear, lots of clearance, aggressive tires 33" or larger and an experienced driver.
Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!

Thanks.

realy did not need the work and would be a waste of money in their opinion.
They have always been the lowest price and worked to my schedule and done it

Actually the best way to get trail information put in the website is
to just e-mail me. If it is a new listing, give me all of the info.
If it is a change to an existing listing, just give me the trail name
and the change.
Any help is in getting the missing info filled in is much appreciated.

Subject: Axle to Tire Question
Any comments and advice are appreciated

But then I
am a cheap SOB! ;-)

I just finished a 3" body lift on my CJ-5. I have a 2" body lift which I removed. I have 3 additional places I want to put a body mount that my kit didn't come with pucks for. Why can't I cut the 2" blocks and stack 1 and a half 2" blocks to make additional 3" lift blocks. I only use Grade 8 zinc coated hardware. The 3 additional lift block spots are in the very front of the tub, and under the drivers seat.

The lifted Jeep is a doctored picture. I remember seeing it a while

it doesn't really matter. It just explains why there's no independent
suspension under there.

Hello All,
This is an automated message from the website, please do not reply to it!

I know this is off topic but, I installed a computer firewall

If somebody tries to get on your computer it gives you the option of

And this incident happened when I was just checking my email.
