I have done both front and rear. The rear is allot easer then the front. If
you have a ban saw or cut of saw and welder you can do it your self.

Does anyone know of a place that can retube this thing?

Subject: Re: Who won?!?(Last night report)
I was pleasantly surprised by the showing of red across the floor last
night. So many showed up from both sides that it was standing room only(3
deep) and they had to move speakers outside for everyone to hear. I was
however very dissappointed in the way the meeting was run. They did a great
job of eating up the time to comment.
It was asked to not repeat if possible viewpoints already stated. However
they made sure that all the people on the commission and the boards that
have approved this spoke first and each of them just restated exactly what
the previous person said and ate up the comment time quickly.
The overwhelming settiment was that everyone wanted to see the land
preserved and not developed. The only point it seemed to be disagreed upon
was the OHV usage. A few speakers did a good job of driving home the point
that the OHV users are the main people cleaning the areas and do their best
to maintain it and that they support the measure if it includes the right to
use OHV's.
One of the tree huggers really went off on OHV use, most did not they just
tried to push through the measure and avoided the OHV issue. The one person
who did address it stated how much OHV tears up the desert and yet the
specialist from Tucson that was up for the meeting and to view the land went
expecting to see a trashed area and said it in fact was not trashed, and
much of the damage he saw was from hikers. In one spot he noted 6 different
flowers that were squashed by the foot print of a hiker. He saw no reason
whey OHV use could not co-exist in the preserved area.
As the meeting wound down Len and I were talking that yes our point was
made, but due to the commity memebers, board members etc... they lined up to
push their point that a true representation of the OHV users feelings was
not made. Later I will be publishing(Make that Len and I) a brief comment
letter that each and every OHV person needs to read, add thier comments to
and send to the State Trust Lands so that our point can be made. Since most
every agreed that the land should be preserved I got the feeling that this
will pass as is if we don't demand in bulk that the wording be changed to
allow OHV use. If we don't follow through and send the comments WE WILL
LOSE the land.

I'm reducing the freeplay in my clutch by adjusting
the linkage because I was having to force it into gear
at idle and there was plenty of free play there to
remove.
well, I reached the end of adjustability in the
linkage and I may need to go a little further. Do
they make replacement parts that will allow more
adjustment (longer parts) or do I need to rig
something?
Just in case anyone asks, the clutch does not slip.

I am selling a Warn FF kit for a D35 YJ or TJ (don't know if it fits

hublocks and one spare, plus a reseal kit and intructions for the

asking $350. If you aren't familliar with this kit, it gives manual
locks for the rear wheels, and eliminates the c-clip axles by using
full floating axles that are as large as D44 axles.

I'd say a good 500+ red shirts showed up last night, but it was obvious that the Arizona Preservation Initiative will prevail. The major winners will be the already rich people who live in or own land at Rio Verde and Troon North or one of the other communities that are already within the boundries I bet most of those POLITICIAN SCUM live in those areas and will profit BIG TIME. Can you imagine the property value increase if your house was inside or adjacent to the new preserve? I'd rather not see another sea of rooftops and 'water sucking golf courses' either, but they need to allow OHV use, at least designate usable areas of the proposed preserve IMHO.

It does make pretty good sense (assuming you can usually wheel with the same friends) to distribute the spare parts inventory! LOL! Most of the trial fixes I have been involved with were always a combination of tools (and occasionally parts) from multiple participants.
So...it is kinda like a pot luck...except you gotta coordinate better to make sure you don't discover that you have 4 spare right axle shafts and no left ones! LOL

Here goes...
The 10 Bolt Rear has a strong housing than the 44, but has 30 Spline shafts.
The ring is 8.5 inches in 10's which I think is a hair smaller than a 44.
The 10 Bolt Front has a strong housing, although most front diff's only came
with 28 Spline Shafts. This shouldn't be an issue as the front shaft is
still strong than the U-Joint riding on it. (Spice 297) D44's have 30
Splines front and back typically. I have seen a friend of mine reliably run
35's on 10 Bolts with lockers front and rear for 2 Years of hard thrashing
in a FullSize Blazer (6000Lbs). If you can find a late model 10 Bolt Front
Diff (89-90), some of them had 30 Spline also. I think they would hold up
well but would recommend two things:
1) Carry a Spare Rear shaft, bearing and seal.
2) Buy Moser Shafts and better axle bearings next time you go through it.
Here is an article that shows the bigger bearings and shafts.

I'm selling a set of axle shafts for a D35c, they are from a '94 YJ but may fit the TJ, (I'm not sure). The Jeep they came out of has ABS.
I'd like to get $100 for them so I can buy some other parts that I need. I'm in Tucson but will be traveling to Phoenix this coming Monday and can deliver them if needed.

If we don't follow through and send the comments WE WILL
LOSE the land.

well, I reached the end of adjustability in the
linkage and I may need to go a little further. Do
they make replacement parts that will allow more

Just in case anyone asks, the clutch does not slip.

full floating axles that are as large as D44 axles.

Yep, now we know who she was. It's cool that some of us got our pics in the
paper, but I'm pissed about having mine under that headline. Nastygram to
the Republic regarding editorial bias to follow.............

Subject: For Sale - Dana 35c axle shafts
I'm selling a set of axle shafts for a D35c, they are from a '94 YJ but may fit the TJ, (I'm not sure). The Jeep they came out of has ABS.
I'd like to get $100 for them so I can buy some other parts that I need. I'm in Tucson but will be traveling to Phoenix this coming Monday and can deliver them if needed.
TIA,
