by my motorcycle. Plus needing help from complete strangers to get it off me didn't help matters any. :o  :D

Anyway, the club I ride with decided to do the Boo Fest run a few weeks back and I signed up. After 400+ miles today (going to the meet spot, the end of the run and then home) I can barely walk and my knees are killing me.

I have to admit though that things look so different from the perspective of the bike in places like Jerome and Oak Creek Canyon. I fell in love with the run and the northern part of the state. The trees are still turning colors and I'd love to get up there again in the coming weeks to check it out to see how much more they have changed.

Here's the route we took today:

Got a few pics but nothing special. Can't take pics like you can on a Jeep run.

I recommend getting up north in the next few weeks and check out the area, it's awesome.

Up through Oak Creek Canyon to Flagstaff is the nicest scenery in the state in my opinion.Never did it on a bike but went through in a convertible. Don

I know those roads well, never got to ride my bike on some of them. I know you had a blast. I would be dragging too after that trip. We took the Jeeps to Morenci then up the old 666 Hwy to Alpine then across by Big Lake over to Pinetop. The leaves are awesome up that way as well. From Morenci to Alpine would be fun on a bike. The dirt road wouldn't be so great but you could bypass that by going thru Eager and past Greer on the pavement.
Hope you or the bike didn't get any Dings in the fall.:o

Nah, not really. The bike was better off then me. :p I think the clutch lever bent by a 1/4 of an inch or less and that's it. I was worried about my newly straightened pegs but it came through unscathed.

ha, morenci is my ol stomping grounds :D

i love that area from there to alpine. absolute wilderness. if you ever get a chance, you should stop at eagle creek for some great small mouth fishing. late fall or early spring is best. also, lots of good cats in threre as well. one of the last places that bighorn sheep are plentyful.

think im due for a trip back home:(

Don't they make training wheels for this type of problem ??

Glad to hear that your ok, and nothing serious got messed up on the bike..
I was at a Circle K friday night up 35th ave and Pinnicle peak and this lady was there on a brand new Harley waiting for her girl friends to show up so they could Ride....... She looked like she could barely hold the bike up she was so tiny.. But she hopped on and thew that bike around as she lit up the rear tire leaving the parking lot.. :D
